 Founding Chairman, Prof. Vijay S. Vyas (1931 – 2018)

Prof. Vijay Shankar Vyas was the founding chairperson of the Ajit Foundation. He had served as the Director of  Institute for Development Studies, Jaipur, and  Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He was also Senior Advisor in the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the World Bank, Washington, D.C. He was awarded Padma Bhushan, in 2006.

Sanjay Shrimali, Coordinator Ajit Foundation, Bikaner

Sanjay Shrimali has been working with the Ajit Foundation for more than a decade. He has been involved in developing the Foundation’s community library program. He is also the editor of the Foundation’s journal “Chahal-Phal” for children, and has authored three books on various aspects of Bikaner.
